A 30th Birthday Celebration

Hi, Peridot Family! Early last month, I had the honor and privilege of documenting one of the swankiest 30th birthday celebrations! The theme: Queens of My Heart: A 30th Birthday Celebration (Queen of Hearts). The guest of honor, Deidre, not only celebrated her birthday milestone but the women in her life that have helped mold her into the amazing person she is today! Super Dope, right?! Read on to learn more and see the beautiful details!

The Venue

First, the elegant soirée at Just Dream Events in Lynbrook, NY, was designed by the ever-talented Thérèse Nicole, LLC. The affair was a decent-sized event with roughly 75 attendants, including her close friends, family, and her sorority sisters, to name a few. The evening was also documentation by a highly-skilled Videographer, Regina Mirova. Did I mention that 99.9% of the people in attendance were women?! Talk about empowering!

Next, all of Deidre’s guests arrived dressed to the nines with endless spirit and enthusiasm. The gifted violinist, James Teal, played as the guests entered and found their seats. Each place setting was adorned with a personal message to her attendees, styled like a set of playing cards. Now, let’s talk about the décor.

The Décor

The Queen of Heart’s garden (from Alice in Wonderland) inspires the Décor. Full bloom roses and luxuriant hydrangeas, provided by Z The Florist, cascaded over the mirrored tabletops and graced the focal backdrop. The delectable cupcakes and three-tiered Emerald Green birthday cake, topped with a sparkling candle and florals, were created by The Sugar Spell.

The Grand Entrance

But, how can I not mention the Grand Entrance of All Grand Entrances?! So, let me first say that this young woman’s energy is unparalleled. From her positive spirit to her ability to rock the entire night in high heels, she is a force to be reckoned with. Thanks to DJ Arson‘s skills, the dance floor was a buzz all night long.

The Queens of My Heart: A 30th Birthday Celebration

As I’ve mentioned before, Deidre made a point to celebrate and express deep gratitude to the important people in her life. She also poured positivity and love into everyone’s lives through prayer before the night’s festivities began. Deidre orated her prepared speeches and presented gifts to those most impactful in her life thus far (the Queens of Her Heart). The blessings concluded with a champagne toast!

In conclusion, I was delighted to have been there for all the excitement. And even happier to share some of that excitement with you here. Thérèse Nicole, LLC omitted no detail on this night, and everything was picture-perfect! I hope you enjoy the pictures as much as I enjoyed making them!
