WELCOME TO THE

Black Tie Picnic at Brooklyn Bridge Park

Black Couple is Formal Attire at Brooklyn Bridge Park, Pier 1

We meet again, my lovely Gemstones! This past weekend, I had the pleasure of photographing Gabrielle & Edward’s Black Tie Picnic at Brooklyn Bridge Park – Pier 1. This soon-to-be-wedded couple plans to tie the knot in the Fall of 2023.

Gabrielle and Edward met on Hinge, an online dating app designed to be deleted after you’ve found your love match! (How cool is that?!) After dating for a “short” time, Gabrielle surprised Edward with a trip to Montréal for his birthday. But Edward surprises Gabby with a marriage proposal over dinner at Modavie! (Ah L’Amour) Good Eats, French Wine, Live Jazz, AND a proposal?! Talk about a Night To Remember!

The Lovebirds haven’t made any official wedding plans yet, but based on their Black Tie Picnic at Brooklyn Bridge Park, I know it will be gorgeous! And from what I understand, the thing that they are most excited about is becoming family. After all, that is what matters most, right?!

Future wedding details aside, let’s get to the present: Gabrielle & Edward’s Black Tie Engagement Session! These two are natural in front of the camera. Their good looks, fabulous outfit choices, sublime, iconic location, and genuine love for each other made this portrait experience one of my favorites and a delightful and magical experience!

Congratulations, Gabrielle & Edward! Here’s to many, many happy years together!

Before you know it, you are how many anniversaries in, and there’s not much to show for it, save for a few selfies and Instagram posts. Your union deserves so much more than that. Here are a few reasons why you should do an anniversary portrait session.
