WELCOME TO THE

Anniversary Portrait Session

why you should do an anniversary portrait session

As a wife and mother of 3 and bonus mom to 2 more, I completely understand what it’s like to get lost in the throes of adulthood. Rarely taking the time to flirt or speak sweet nothings, the flames of passion can become dull over time. Before you know it, you are how many anniversaries, and there’s not much to show for it, save for a few selfies and Instagram posts. Your union deserves so much more than that. Here are a few reasons why you should do an anniversary portrait session.

Adulting Sucks

You’re probably saying to yourself, “I’m too busy to stop and take pictures,” or asking, “Who has that kind of time?” But being too busy to spend time with each other can cause severe damage to your relationship. Your careers, your children, or even a distorted self-image can get in the way of the two of you spending quality time with one another. Let’s face it, adulting sucks.

And because you’re not spending enough quality time together, either one of you could end up feeling unattractive, unloved, or even taken for granted. The “Spark” between you both is now dull or non-existent, therefore resulting in lackluster or awkward interactions with one another. The relationship feels like it is in a slump, right?

For Better or Worse

You deserve to feel loved, honored, and respected in your relationship. For better or worse, through sickness, and in health, for richer for poorer, to celebrate the union you committed. If we have learned nothing over the past [almost] two years, time is short. And with things happening so strangely and abruptly, I would advise spending another moment of your life together without any beautiful memories to look back and reflect on.

So, how do you fix it?

Over the past six years, I’ve photographed couples on their wedding day. I experience the nerves and the excitement right along with them as I document the unfolding of their love story. After a while, I became more enthralled in what came after, The Happily Ever After. The love story continues, without the flowers and whimsy, the cake and champagne, but who documents that? I do!

With my Luxury Portrait Experience, I get you dressed up, do makeup and all, and focus on the unfiltered, raw emotion and spark once forgotten. Remind you both that you’re still attracted to and in love with one another. Flames rekindled with a single stare, a touch on the shoulder, or a gentle kiss. You both will cherish the moment forever.

Renew the Commitment

I  urge you don’t pass on the opportunity to renew the commitment, romance, and intimacy between you. More importantly, don’t take photos that will be forgotten and lost in your IG Feed. DO take pictures for the sole purpose of never losing these memories and passing them down. Hang them on the wall, and put them in an album. Relive the moment.
